This is why I hate nerds. Not cute nerds, but nerds that are all technological and shit. Think like the guy who fixes computers in every movie/tv show about offices. And it was just a freakin' Walgreens photo machine. First he asks me if I've ever used one. And of course, I used to work at CVS. I haven't used this particular one though. And I ask him if they print matte or glossy. "Oh, we only print glossy here (DUH!)" So I start pressing the screen and he comes back "Uhh, you have to put the CD in first because it won't pick up the images unless you start with the CD in there." Okay. So then I put the CD in and I'm touching the screen to print the picture. He's still there. "That's just a preview screen, you can't do anything until you push the button that says Go To Album." Its the only button on the screen, so I'm sure I could've figured it out by myself. Right, so my friend and I just walked out. He wasn't going to sit there and, like, choose the pictures to print for us. I guess you just have to hear the way those people talk to you, they have zero social skills. I dunno, my friend was freaking out more than me because everytime he talked, she would freeze up and strain her face. I just like to roll my eyes, but I could see that he was hovering around to tell us all he knows and all we don't know.
So after that, my day was pretty good. I got some Chicken Pad Thai. The fortune cookie said that I would have a pleasant trip. I found the Irreverent Guide to London at Borders. The fortune is now a bookmark for it. Harmony made fun of me because I get confused about all the fuckin' names of the neighborhoods and the stadiums and the districts and all the small towns in England. Well I better sort that out right quick. I found out that Ricky Gervais has a weird ass book out. Actually, its just for kids.
And Natasha ~ Okay, so you didn't know what to think about Against Nature (is it worth borrowing to finish the rest?), but are you enjoying Sarah? And have you confronted your friend that totally ripped it off?
