Yesterday I went to Lutherstadt-Wittenberg with Nicole, Kate, Au, and Ramesh. We saw and walked around in the place where Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses on the door of the church. "Ein minuten bitte!" Pretty crazy! Actually the church got mostly destroyed in 1760 from some war, and they rebuilt it. BUT STILL. I MEAN COME ON. We walked around the town which was cute and old. Then we took a train to Leipzig, which is this cool-pretty hip city in Germany that is Germany's delegate to get the Olympics in 2012. We walked around awhile. I decided I am going to move here at some point. I decided that when this city UNDOUBTEDLY gets the olympics for 2012, i can move back and get a job where my english is appreciated for talking to tourists! And I will live in this relaxed city with its huge train station and cool buildings and young people who are young but seemingly unobnoxioius. The end. We took the train back. It cost us only €28 for FIVE of us to ride trains all day, with the Schönes Wochenende Ticket. That was good.

On an unrelated note, the birds in Germany are apparently insane. They chirp well after sundown, and well before sunrise. And I'm not talking like 9 oclock or whatever, I'm talking like 1am. Not near anything. They are just chirping, and it makes me uneasy. GO TO SLEEP BIRDS.

Ok here's one more thing. This has happened on more than two occasions now, and it had never happened to me ever before I came to Germany. All the sudden I have a flashback to a dream that I had a few nights ago, but up to that point I couldn't remember the dream. I have just figured out they are dreams because I know they never happened. But for a minute or two, my brain is really confused because it can't tell if they are a memory from real life or a memory from a dream, and my stomach turns, and i feel sick cause I'm so confused. Eventually I figure out they are not real MEMORY memories, and it's better, but still... really weird. And why never until now?
