I don't know if everyone knows about this and I am way behind the times, but I read about this Earthviewer program in the paper. Apparently it has been getting a lot of "press" from the news channels using it to zoom in on targets etc. in Iraq. It's a type of interactive globe that combines tons of satellite footage among other things and lets you look at pretty much anywhere on the planet.
I WANT IT REALLY BAD. But Keyhole is not giving out anymore "passports" do their demo because they have so much traffic right now. Has anyone used it? Is the future now? I can't believe it's been out since 2002 and I go to a nerd school and never heard about it.
