You will never guess!
You guys will never guess what happened to me today!
But first before I tell you I should start with some background!
For all of those who do not know I have been doing an internship at Dunkel Veterinary Hospital through skill center! I have only been there 6 days but I love it. I have seen spays, netuers, declaws and helped in all of them. I also got to give a vaccine, help prep for surgery, take heartrates and do blood tests!
Well today started off like any normal day there. I was helping everyone get ready for surgery and I was there helping in a laser declaw when Cristie ( the supervisor) came in and asked if she could
"borrow me". To be honest I thought there was something that I did wrong. She took me into the break room and started telling me how everyone thought that I was doing good and even Dr.Dunkel said I was doing great and hes the head vet! Then she offered me a job. I start in two weeks. I will be working in the boarding area full time at seven dollars an hour! Its going to be a lot more work that Mickie Ds but I think I will enjoy it much more!
Alright time for youth group just had to let everyone know the good news!
