36th Draw = Errand running! [Open Action]

[Backdated to early this morning.Selphie's running some errands today. First things first though, she's getting in some training at the barracks. Instead of running through her nunchaku drills, she's decided to go through some basic hand-to-hand skills that they teach all first year cadets at Garden. She's rusty as she goes through the moves on

[When Selphie gets back to the house, she'll find one princeling perched on the roof well into a good brood. His head's resting in his hands and he's not really paying much attention to anything going on around him. His talk with the twins weighs heavily on him and he needed somewhere quiet to think it out. Like a high spot with potential for falling was the most brilliant choice of location.]

[Oh Ceodore, forgive your girlfriend as she finds a handful of small stones and will promptly start pitching them at you until you a) fall of the room (and then she'll feel bad) or b) snap out of your brooding.]

[Well that works. One of the stones whaps Ceodore in the cheek and his head snaps up and in the direction of the incoming projectiles.]

Selphie?

[He stands up so he can come down, loses his balance, and falls right off the roof, landing in the bushes.]

Ow...

[boomchucka]

Hiya-- Ceodore!

[Well it snapped him out of his angsting but the falling off the roof wasn't quite what she'd intended. She races over to Ceodore and kneels down beside him with a horrified look on her face.]

Are you hurt?! I'm so, so sorry...

[He's laying in the bushes. What do you think? Of course, he struggles to sit upright, snapping branches as he does.]

I'm fine.

[Bruised and limping, but he'll live.]

[Selphie's apology is clear on her face as she moves to help Ceodore up.]

Really... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to knock you off the roof.

It's okay.

[So not going to admit to making a habit of falling from high places.]

What about you?

[boomchucka]

[Then she's not likely to tell you that she enjoys jumping from high places.]

I'm okay but what's got you brooding so early in the day?

I talked to Palom and Porom.

[There's that serious face again. Also deeply worried.]

[She sees that look and reaches for his hands.]

What did they tell you? [She's concerned about him now.]

[Hand holding is good. Very good.]

It's complicated.

[And makes his head hurt to think about still.]

How complicated?

My parents are alive.

[And yet somehow he's making that sound like he's trudging into a funeral.]

And Kain's not at fault.

[It's not like they're dead. She smacks him lightly on the forehead.]

You know... that's a really good thing and you're making it sound like it's the end of the world. [Because you know... she wishes her parents were still alive.]

[Ceodore makes a sour face and rubs his head. You're supposed to be supportive here, woman.]

There's more to it than that.

[Selphie giggles lightly before patting Ceodore on the shoulder.]
