[Frey gently reaches to pull her fully out of the river, worried about all the bruises and discolorations all over.] Selphie, I need you to tell me where it hurts, ok?

[He takes a deep breath and casts a healing wind spell to ease some of the surface wounds and bruises. It's only a first level spell, but he's not sure what happened and wants to be cautious.]

[Selphie doesn't want Ceodore to see her like this. She knows right away that he's going to blame himself for what's happened to her and there's nothing that can be done about it after the fact. She merely nods to the fact that he's coming.

As for what needed more healing...]

My ankles are the worst. They don't like it when you try to fight them.

[Frey would agree with her normally, but he needs someone to help him move her, preferably with that blinking spell Ceodore has. He doesn't want to risk hurting her more.] No, they don't.

Ok, just hold still. [And he casts yet another healing spell, this time something a little stronger.]

[Ceodore's wasted no time in getting to them. In fact, the only thing he did do was switch out the armor for clothes because Teleport is faster than walking and SHE IS BACK!

[The minute Selphie hears Ceodore's voice, she's sitting up far too quickly for her own good. Her eyes go wide as she slumps over from the dizzying wave that took over. It's not one of her smarter moves but hopefully one of them will catch her? She eyes dart around as she tries to find her friends but everything's dark.]

[Not that he minds taking them to the clinic, but he's desperate to make sure she's okay and has to do something for her. Other than hug her tightly, which he probably shouldn't do but he's rash and not thinking that through. At least it catches her from falling over.

He casts Curaga on her first and foremost, and then follows up with Esuna to repair her lack of vision.]

[Normally, Selphie is fine with Ceodore's tight hugs but this time, they're actually a bit painful as she tries to pull away from him before his white magic is working wonders before she slumps against him and desperately wants to sleep. She carefully looks up at Ceodore and slowly shakes her head.]

I don't think it helped.

[If there was ever a time that Selphie wanted to cry, this was one of them. She'd never felt so full of despair as she did at this moment.]

If anything, this shouldn't last. Nothing the Malnosso does to people ever lasts. [His voice is still concerned, though.]
