Third Draw - Selphie's First Hangover [Voice]

[Ssssh, just assume this appeared this morning. I only got the chance to post this now.

Selphie's speaking pretty darn quiet this morning. She's feelin' pretty darn rough right now. Feel free to be mean and shout at her!]

If this is what a hangover feels like, I don't think I want another one. I wanna curl up into a ball and die right now.

...I'm sorry. Do you need anything? I don't know what works for hangovers.

Oh hi again! Yao brought me something a little while ago but if you wanna come visit, that's okay by me!

[Voice]

I can do that. Are you still with Quistis?

Okay! I remember where that is. I'll be over soon.

[After a while, Terra knocks. She has a white bakery box tucked under one arm.]

[Selphie opens the door and smiles brightly at Terra. Suffice to say, she's feeling a lot better than before.]

Hiya! Terra's your name right? C'mon in!

[Action]

[esper_flight]

[Terra smiles, a little relieved to see Selphie perky again. It's strange when she isn't. She steps inside.]

I don't know if muffins help with hangovers, but...I couldn't resist the bakery on my way here.

[Action]

[boomchucka]

Yao brought me something earlier to help with the hangover and I'm kinda glad that Quisty's out right now or she'd probably give me hell for being a dummy. Sorry if I worried you, by the way.

[She takes the box from Terra and makes her way over to the table, placing it next to a bowl of fruit.]

[Action]

[Terra smiles and shakes her head.]

It's okay. It happens...and besides, I needed a break from homework, anyhow. So, how are you adjusting to this place?

[Action]

[boomchucka]

There's school here? Are you serious?

[Selphie's eyebrows knit together in a frown.]

It's not mandatory is it?

Adjusting? I think I'm adjusting pretty well. How long have you been here?

[Action]

[esper_flight]

[Terra shakes her head, quick to reassure.]

Oh, no. It's not mandatory. I just wanted to go.

I've been here for seven months--almost eight, now. It's been...well, in a lot of ways, it's like anywhere else. There are good and bad moments.

[Action]

[boomchucka]

[Selphie breathes a huge sigh of relief. School was and wasn't her cup-of-tea.]

I hear ya on good and bad moments but I don't remember what happened before I came back so I don't really have an opinion yet but from back home we all definitely had our ups and downs.

[esper_flight]

[Terra pauses for a moment, thoughtful.]

Well, I wouldn't be able to tell you much about what happened before. We met a few times; went to an amusement park and had a snowball fight and such, but I'm not sure how long you were here before me.

Either way, it doesn't matter. Now that you're here, you'll soon be able to decide for yourself again.

[Action]

[boomchucka]

[Selphie's blinking at Terra for a few moments, attempting to digest this information. Squall or Quistis would know how long she'd been here before.]

Sounds like fun! We'll have to have the snowball fight again though for sure!

[She's nodding as she opens the box and pulls out two of the muffins. She gives one to Terra and starts to nibble on the other.]
