According to LJ, I updated 40 weeks ago.
To me, that seems like a very arbitrary number. 40 weeks? Almost a year? It's possible. I could just look at the previous entry's date, but I'm not going to.
I always sit down and plan on writing something epic but usually these posts turn into rant fest '94 or blabber fest '77 and we get nowhere.
Isn't that the point of blogs anyway?
I had a test this morning. I thought it was easy. Other than the fact I didn't know how the hell to do the last two questions at all. Even though we got to use a cheat sheet, I failed at writing down the formula for SAFETY STOCK.
The sad thing is the formula is easy: safety stock = (standard deviation) * (service factor)
The sadder thing is I was studying one of my problem sets (in which I got 18/20 on even though I missed the last 50 answers, literally.) Literally, there were 55 answers in the excel spreadsheet, and I got 5 of them right. And still got an 18/20.
So I was really just making up numbers that I thought looked good and put them as the answer on the test. Let's hope it works out in the same way.
Don't you hate it when your prof says "YOU MUST KNOW THIS FOR THE TEST." And then it doesn't appear on the test? I was looking through powerpoint slides and I had in big words, starred off, "KNOW FOR TEST." So it took up 5% of my cheat sheet and 0% of the test.
Sarah Palin says she wouldn't hesitate to run for high office again if it's "God's will." I'm pretty sure God doesn't give a fuck about who is running the country in the United States. In fact, I'm pretty sure its the will of the people that dictates who will be running for presidency etc.
Keeping up with her lack of basic world geography, she comes out with this line: "I think the economic collapse had a heckuva lot more to do with the campaign's collapse than me personally," the governor said in an interview broadcast Tuesday on NBC's "Today" show.
What? Campaign collapse? Economic collapse? Correlation? Causation? What the hell does this even mean? Her statement is akin to something like this:
"I think gravity had a heckuva lot more to do with Mir space station collapse than me personally."
See, I can't even make an eligible comparison.
I'm running on 2 hours of sleep so I think I will go take a nap.
