So, I said after the Hot People Death Match was over that I'd picspam the winners, and here's my first offering: The Lost Capone (which has been discussed at pasdar_daily, and I shall reporting back to them tomorrow).

The film's... okay; it had some fabulous slashy undertones - as does anything that Adrian is involved in - and the acting wasn't terrible. The story's about Jimmy Capone, Al's youngest brother, who flees the family business to become a marshal in Homer, Nebraska. In the interests of historical accuracy, I should point out that James Vincenzo Capone was actually the oldest Capone brother, and that Al Capone had six brothers and two sisters, not three brothers, like the film suggests. The film stuck fairly closely to the truth aside form that, though, at least according to Wikipedia.

The packaging of this movie deserves a mention too: ITV (a British network) decided to reissue it on DVD a couple of years ago, I guess, and for the new cover, they used a shot of Eric Roberts from the film, and a Heroes promo shot of Adrian, making him appear at least six years older than Eric Roberts, and a full fifteen years older than he actually is in this film. Somehow I don't think they did it for accuracy. Also, the blurb on the back states that he's marshal in Harmony, Nebraska, not Homer, which is clearly shown in the film.

Really though, the true star of this film is Adrian's New Yawwwk accent, which I sadly cannot convey through pictures. The trailer gives a pretty good idea, though.

Joseph Littlecloud is impressed by Jimmy's pushing-pianos-out-of-windows skills.

You'll notice that, although the romance quota in this film is filled by Allison Reynolds Ally Sheedy, Jimmy's true love is Joseph. Here he is checking out his arse after Joseph saves him from a stranglin'.

See, it's love.

And here are Jimmy and Kathleen's very happy wedding photo... And Jimmy and Joseph's.

I didn't include the end because, well, it's not altogether that interesting, and, as River Song would say, spoilers!

And just in case you'd like to know what the film makers thought Adrian would look in his forties (this part is set in 1946, which would have made the real James Capone fifty four, but since he's meant to the youngest in this film, idk what age he's supposed to be):

the lost capone, the pasdar, picspam
