I only really posted about the OMGTOUCHINGADRIANPASDAR yesterday, so now you get my ADD con report. :)

Saturday-
The first day of the con was pretty low-key, it was really an opportunity to browse the stalls and shop. I went with dad, and we got a whole sales spiel about HD DVD players (really not interesting, but they were showing 300 and had this split screen thing that showed them filming in front of the blue screen. We watched medieval roleplayers, and I got a Firefly t-shirt. Every SF fan should have a Firefly t-shirt. Then dad noticed that Gary Kurtz was there. My grandfather used to work for MGM and he knows Kurtz quite well, so my dad was like 'let's go over nd say hello!'. Personally I thought it was a bad idea, and I was right, Kurtz didn't recognise him, even though they have met quite a few times, and since there was no one in his autograph queue, I think he was kind of embarrassed. :/

After we left, we saw The Simpsons Movie, which kind of sucked.

Sunday-
It was an absolute nightmare getting there on Sunday morning. The closest tube station had engineering works going on, so we had to walk down to Holborn and it took about ten minutes to get tickets because all the machines were broken. I had an Oyster card, but mum didn't. It was horribly hot and crowded, I think everyone must have decided to descend on tube at that exact moment. It took so long I very nearly missed the SGA talk, but we got there just in time.

And, the autographs!

The first two were from packs that I got for buying a special (expensive) ticket. The Star Trek ones were pretty good, but the SG ones were a bit of a poor show. They had to actually write their character names under the signatures so that you'd know who they are...

And these are my pride and joy. Three autographs I got from the stars. Strictly no dedication for Patrick Stewart though. :(

It was £20 each for Milo and Adrian, and £25 for Patrick Stewart, and there was this guy in front of me in both Heroes lines that had about ten different things for them to sign. He must have spent at least £200 on each of them. O.o I bet they were on Ebay by Sunday evening.

Oh, and "To Alexandra, Best Wishes"(!) *loves Adrian Pasdar*
