Pollen
Right... I'm officially ready to be done with spring now. It's great and all, and I like the warm weather, but we're having a freaking POLLEN STORM down here! The AIR is GREEN! I can't even breathe outside! The ground is covered with this sprinkling of tree sperm, and everyone's tracking chartreuse footprints into every room! Yesterday, when the wind blew, you could see clouds of the stuff blowing off the trees! It's disgusting! I'm all for reproduction and the great outdoors, but seriously!? Yesterday's pollen count was 6000, and a normal day of pollen would be around 500! Uugh!
In better news, the crappy outdoors have given me plenty of time to write, and the new chapter of Brutal Teacher will be making its debut this evening! Be prepared for angst-bucketing and awesomeness. Now would be the time to get your hands on that prozac and prepare a batch of cookies. Though really, for a chapter of this story, it's almost upbeat! Almost.
In other news, I decided to participate in April Script Frenzy this year, which involves trying to write a 100 page script starting on April 1st and finishing on the 30th. Today marks the day I ought to have 26.64 pages. I have 21. I miiiight have fallen a little behind. The script, at least, is pretty fun! It takes place in the hotel room at an anime convention, and follows a group of teenagers and college kids who went to the con together. It's a little weird, but I'm having fun with it! Unfortunately, it's just one more writing project to slow me down. However, it also has this UNCANNY ability to split my attention. I cannot believe how easy it is to get side-tracked into writing on one of my other stories while I ought to be writing on it! It's incredible!
Anyhow, in conclusion, pollen is gross, fanfiction is good, scripts are hard, and I love you all!
