Chapter 6--Two Deaths/One Funeral; Cullen is Born
Bliss gave birth to a baby boy and named him Cullen. Cady was thrilled to have a little brother.
Thanks to some string-pulling by his father-in-law, Aden, Orlando got a job on the force. He didn't seem to be very grateful, though, as after his shift was over, he would go get drunk while still in uniform then pass out on the sidewalk in front of his house.
This caused problems at home. When things got really bad, Bliss sent Cady to have sleepovers at grandma's.
Since Orlando was at the bars half the time, Boden (also a cop) often babysat his nephew, Cullen. He wanted to have kids, but his wife, Laura, wasn't ready yet.
Laura was a medical technician and career-minded woman. She wasn't much of a cook, but she made a mean TV dinner.
Each day, Cullen grew to look more and more like his father, Orlando.
Tragedy struck the Sheppard family one day when Aden died in a house fire. He never was very good at using the oven.
Blaze and Boden took care of cleaning up the debris so their mom wouldn't have to see it.
Azure was devastated. She went to the church before the funeral and mourned by Aden's urn.
The church was packed for Aden's memorial service. His best buddy, Goopy, was there, as was family friend, Tasha Go.
Boden gave a stirring eulogy in which he spoke of his father's love for his family and his passion for fighting crime.
The stress of losing her husband proved too much to bear for Azure, and she died at the funeral. It was sad, but it also saved the family the cost of renting the church twice.
Her urn was placed next to her husband's.

Notes for Simmers--I accidentally let Orlando's energy bar get down to zero, and he fell over, exhausted! That was the day I decided he was going to have an alcohol problem. I used a photoshop-type program to paste the pictures in next to the urns as the game wouldn't let me do that.
Notes for Newbies--The podium you see at the funeral is a career reward. To get extra objects without having to earn the rewards, open a cheat box (Ctrl-Shift-C) and type in the cheat "unlockCareerRewards." The rewards can be found in a screen near where you find their personality and career info.
