The Bodyshop Game!
I wasn't sure if this had made it over here from tumblr yet, but I wanted to personally make sure that it did! The Bodyshop Game is a meme type thing originally come up with by Spyro (thanks!) that's been going around like quickfire and that I personally find really fun .. and is a really, really good way to make sims really quickly - can anyone say lots and lots of townies?! In case you don't want to click the link, the rules are as follows (rewritten generously by me for clarification):
1. Open Bodyshop and create / clone a new sim. Hit the randomizer button (the dice) five times -- or more, but be sure to decide on the number of times before you begin rolling! This is to keep you from deciding you don't like the outcome and just rolling the dice again!
2. Work with your result, manually! No tweaking with sliders, no messing around with genetics or changing skins! Whatever you rolled is your base, now apply your CC and see what you end up with!
Additionally:
3. You may change the hairstyle of the sim (since frequently they generate with CC hairstyles), but not the color (ie: the genetics). I'll even go so far as to say this goes for the eyes & skins, as well, for those of you who play with custom eye & skin sets!
4. Optional: Think up of a personality. Why did you choose this CC for this sim? Was it because of some of their features? Full lips, big eyes, etc? This is a good way to get you thinking about what that sim might be like in game, for all of you story tellers!
5. Post pictures, townify, do whatever you want, rinse & repeat!
And because what kind of post would this be if I didn't share an example.. these are the two sims that I came up with when I did the challenge really quickly yesterday! One of them (the male who I named Sandor Anderson) is going to be incorporated into my maxisbea neighborhood. The female, I believe, is going to be townified. But look at the ears and the pouty eyes!
