Spring Break

Wow! I've had frozen yogurt but never actually thought of freezing yogurt. Sis Wally here at the school gave me a bunch of yogurt she had put in the freezer. I put it in my fridge earlier this afternoon and didn't realize it was still frozen til I just opened it. Glad to discover it's really good. It tastes just like a typical berry frozen yogurt. The flavor is berry jasmine, hmmmm, dunno, but it's really good and has omega 3,pre and postbiotics. Yeah, I thought that sounded good. Speaking of which, I got some wheat bread at church yesterday that has omega 3, 8 grains, flaxseed, and nice stuff like that. I wonder if you can get too much omega 3. I'm happy with all my food. Ish healthy!

So anyway, there's a lot I could say since spring break happened quite recently. Kim and I were planning to leave Friday but, several days before, she read the forecasts and saw there would be storms in Tennessee, so we left Thursday. (Good thing, there were a couple people that weren't able to leave Friday) We got there late Thursday night, but since Nick had school that evening and worked early the next morning, I knew I wouldn't see him til Friday afternoon. Or so I thought, Fefe had surprises for Kim Sue and I and took us to a back room so show us. She had me close my eyes and then put the surprise in my hands. I opened them and barely had time to see a stuffed duck when out walks Nick. Aaaah! Yeah, basically that's what happened. It was a nice surprise.

Friday, I hung out with Kim Sue and Felicia. We pretty much had a girls' day. Mayonaise-do's. Chik-Fil-A. Visiting Fefe's work. It was quite fun.

Saturday. . .oh yeah, Kim Sue was in a hurry to get home and left that morning. Felicia, Andy, Nick and I went to Atlanta and ate at this neat healthy/vegetarian restaurant, R. Thomas.

The week was fun. Wednesday night at church, we had the Petersens, the singing evangelists. And one day I "helped" Nick change the seatbelts in the Blazer. Since he had a few days off from work, we went to Labor Ready trying to get work. We would've gone to an orientation Monday morning at the Georgia Dome Monday had the tornado not hit it.

On Friday, Nick had been planning a surprise. It was a day trip, but I had no idea what it could be...a museum?? hiking? We were planning to go Friday until the forecast sounded bad. Then the forecast got better and we decided to stick with Friday. The storm we got Friday night turned out to be the tornado. But anyway, Friday we went to Tybee Island near Savannah. Wow! Wasn't expecting that. It was a great time! Besides the fun at the beach, we drove through Savannah and saw their St Patrick's Day festivities. They really make a show of it. I read later they even had a black-out.

I was supposed to head back to Indy with Kim on Monday, but due to Kim's complications, I found out Monday morning we wouldn't be going back. Since there were several people in Florida, I tried to find another ride but to no avail. Stuck another day with Nick. While we were waiting for her Tuesday afternoon, we went to Noah's Ark, a Christian zoo.
