Food for thought
Some random wandering on Wikipedia brought something to my attention that I've always known and taken for granted, and never really thought about. In video games, there are some unspoken conventions that everyone instantly recognizes. Life/health potions are red, magic potions are blue, poison is green. Everyone recognizes 1-ups, too. It's obvious what it is. But what do you think your character thinks about seeing his/her own disembodied floating head lying on the ground in front of him/her?
