Evie's mostly over her disappointment from this morning after having been to the movies by herself like an Adult Modern Woman. Now she's trying to work on a letter to her brother. But she keeps having to leave things out. And not even magic things, either.

She sat on the window seat, overlooking the front lawn and the path into town, and left the door open as she tried to explain her embarassment in Internet class without the word 'pornography' being mentioned.
