@.@. . . . .
My extended family has this tradition of always buying things like I'm a preppy, popular girl. My grandmother has this tradition of making my female cousins and I the most HIDEOUS clothing I've ever seen, bar known. So this stuff usually ends up in dress-up games with my friends, or parts of halloween costumes.
Yeah, I probably sound like a spoiled, petulant child, complaining when I got so much. The thing is. . . my list consists of 4 items, every year. Books, art, CDs and drawing stuff. I always put (quite plainly) that gift certificates are most appreciated. And every year my parents and family decide to completely ignore my list, resulting in (usually) a bunch of stuff I look at a few times, and in general don't use much. O.o Bleh. Oh well. I'm sound petulant and spoiled again, aren't I? I'll probably sound even worse when my birthday rolls around. . . *bites lip a bit in embarresment*
O.o . . .So. . . *coughs delicately to clear her awkwardness* How did you guys do for christmas? Did you get everything you wanted?
