Quarterly Statement

Mom left for Hawaii for two weeks the same day Becky started Cosmetology school--Tuesday the 29th. Jo-Ellen is home currently, though Uncle Joe will be here somewhere between Friday and Monday to help out.
I ran my first ever D&D game on last sunday the 27th. It went pretty well, though there's no game this week because of the 4th of July.
Apparently I won't be stuck cleaning horse stalls on Saturday nights anymore...the barn owner had a nervous breakdown and kicked us out, so C.C. has to find a new stable by August 1st. That sucks because it's not much time, but she wasn't getting proper care there anyway...and the owner is a giant bitch. Still, it was a convenient way to work off my debt to mom.
I played a 2500 point game of Warhammer against mike tonight, Lizardmen versus Chaos Mortals. I won, but it wa a close fought game. Fear the magical might of the Slann!
Speaking of fantasy, the next edition of Warhammer Fantasy, 8th ed, comes out this month. It looks pretty nifty. I have my copy preordered.
We were going to go to Starved Rock on the 5th since everyone's off, but apparently everyone's not off so we scrapped it. I'm going to Cedar Point the weekend of the 24th, then I'm on vacation the following week. A good way to kick things off, yeah?
I might be taking part in a Kenpo demonstration this Saturday at Oak Fest, depending on when I get out of work. I did it last year, and it was pretty fun. Still, no big loss if I can't make it.
There's a Warhammer 40k tournament coming up later this month that should be fun.
I'm really looking forward to the Scott Pilgrim movie. Don't let me down Cena you bastard!
