One of my favorite lines from Cinderella.
Well, our open is now only two rehearsals away. Things are coming together nicely and I am sure that the audience will enjoy it. The play is silly and short. We have an interesting mix of costumes and the set is BEAUTIFUL. I love the cast. And I've really enjoyed getting to know Portia, my character, and figuring out just how far I could push her.
This production has been vastly different from the last one. There have been lots of problems (as every show has) and we really have had to scramble here at the end. Everything will be as ready as it can be and the show will be great.
I had a hand in creating some of my own costuming. My hats will be a guaranteed giggle. Be sure to look for them.
Oh, and to top it all off... Brett will be meeting Dad this weekend at the show. I told Brett to just take my dad out to the parking lot and put him in a headlock and the two will be best friends forever. Wait... I don't want that.
I'm off to go paint some wheels so Cinderella's carriage can actually roll.
