Advice you'll WANT to take:
When writing on a box with a marker to indicate to the cleaning crew that it should be thrown out, be sure to leave adequate time for said marker to dry.
Do not do as I did.
DO NOT pick that box up and carry it around.
For you shall end up with "TRASH" in great big letters across your ample bosom. (Backwards, of course.)
