I finally got to Gather and it was vair shiney. Did you know there is a special HP staircase in Hamleys? It talks! It is also beautifully tucked away at the side of the shop and so wasn't full of other people. Also, Haagan Daas [sp?] cafe does ice cream cocktails. I recommend the cosmopolitan. Various random passers by thought we were completely bananas, not least the poor man in the NPG who overheard so of our interpretations of the paintings...
