and she was great. I don't remember being THAT young/naive/sweet when I was seventeen (but I probably was)! On a funny note, I was teasing the kids that might resemble the babysitter in the Incredibles - we watched Jeff's DVD the other night while he helped me do my taxes, loved the "JackJack Attack" short- and it turns out she actually kind of does (at least the blonde hair and glasses, although no braces)! :) The only downside is she doesn't drive, lives a ways away, and her mother apparently isn't thrilled about having to come to get her...so we'll see what we can work out - maybe I can ask my neighbor to keep an eye on the kids after they're asleep while I take her home or something...(When I babysat, this was the point when one of the parents would stay home with the kids and the other one would drive me home). It was a funny feeling leaving them with her today - it probably sounds stupid, but leaving my kids with a babysitter for the first time made me feel like having taken another step towards being more grown up. It felt good, but it also felt like I had been that babysitter not THAT long ago (although sheesh, I more than double her age. Yikes!)
