Reservation Fees

Tomorrow my friend and I are heading to Victoria for Girl's Weekend. I go on the BC Ferries website to reserve a spot on the 1 pm ferry, so we don't have to sit for hours if we miss boarding. And it turns out that they charge a $17 dollar damn "reservation fee" *on top* of the already expensive car and driver/passenger fee. So why the hell would I make a reservation? Sitting for another hour or so in the car isn't going to kill us. That what books are for.

I'd like to mention that the problem with losing weight, particularly when your ass is as big as mine (along with the rest of me), is that you don't suddenly look lovely. You're still fat. But now your pants hang on you like the remains of a deflated balloon. It's a delightful fashion statement, and I keep stepping all over the hem of my pants. The point that Tuesday the hem of my left leg completely fell out.

Sacramento won last night (I know you all watched...), which was a gift since Connecticut almost never loses at Mohegan Arena. You gotta love the fact that they play in an arena attached to a casino. Bored during halftime? Play some blackjack! Game 2 tonight, so everyone play along and cheer for my women!

Does anyone feel like making me an America's Cup Sailing icon that's far and away better than this pathetic one I made myself?
