What? What? Is that a random rave?
What a crazy freaking week last week was. And not just for me, but for my entire floor! Unbelievable. One girl’s boyfriend got a DUI, another girl’s boyfriend locked himself in her room by himself and passed out and no one had the key, we had a very nasty breakup. But enough of that - everyone is okay and it’s a new week, thank goodness!
So what’s new and exciting, you ask? Well, the last week of classes is upon us! I think I’m going to be okay. I’m going to end up with some sort of B in most of my classes, which I’m happy with. Next semester will be better - I’ll know what to expect. Plus how can you go wrong when you’re taking a class called “Severe and Hazardous Weather”? :o)
Band Concert tomorrow night - should be pretty sweet. I am my entire section. 7:30 at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts for those of you in the UC. Only $2 - What a deal!
I think I have decided that one of my favorite things in life is completely genuine conversation with a friend. Yesterday I was completely down (I know, I know, what a surprise haha but I have been doing much better for a very long time!) and I just talked to a friend from back in the burbs. It just really cheered me up and he let me know that no matter what, I’m not alone. Granted I felt like an idiot for most of the conversation, but hey, that’s normal for me. There was laughter, there were tears - gosh, I sound like a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie haha. But in all seriousness, good friends are so hard to come by and can be just what you need to get your mind off the world for a while.
Like so many of my other facebookers, I have fallen victim to one of those “I’ll leave you a comment on your note if you leave a comment on mine” things. Colossal waste of time, but I did it anyway. It’s the one where someone writes their name and then you put 8 things about them. It’s actually kind of fun looking back at how I’ve met all these people. So if you’re looking for a reason to procrastinate, I highly recommend the facebook method hehe
As for me, I must get back to work. Have a busy week - Concert tomorrow, basketball game Wednesday, History final Friday, then studying madstyle for finals all weekend. Comments are always appreciated, spread the love, and hope everyone has a good week! Oskee wow wow!
