So I think I'm on a once-a-month schedule lately with this whole updating thing.  There just aren't enough hours in the day, and besides, no one seems to read these things anymore anyway.  It's hard to believe it's only been a month since my last update though.  So much has happened since then.

Okay, so musical ended.  I miss it so much!  Opening weekend was amazing and closing weekend was just as spectacular.  It was so nice having people to hang out with every night - it felt like a family.  I'm so glad that I did it this year, my only regret is that I didn't join sooner.

Hawaii '06 was a couple weeks ago.  I guess I could describe it the same way I'd describe Apollo 13 - "The successful failure."  I had an amazing time - when it's not raining, Waikiki was absolute paradise.  Everything was bright, the people were friendly and I have never seen such blue water before!  It kinda sucked that it rained everyday, but we made the best of it.  I finally learned how to play Egyptian Ratscrew and had a very memorable game of Uno with Neisler haha.  Unfortunately, we never got to play with/hear the Royal Hawaiian Band because it was an outdoors concert that got canceled.  Oh, and boxed dinners are gross.  But besides that, it was great.  We got one day of sun at the beach, and despite the rain at the water park, it was still a blast.  Pearl Harbor turned into a mini-adventure the last day.  Everyone got soaked down to their skin because it was pouring and there was security crazy-ness on the military base and then half of us had to change at the airport... Crazy!  But I'll never forget it.

Err.... What else has happened since then?  We had the all day improv show last week - that went okay, but the show we had the following night went much better.  Yearbook has been fun, I love working with Elisabeth Z. and Lutz.  Spring show is coming together slowly but surely.  My Marching Illini/Concert Band audition is a week from tomorrow, too.  I'm kinda nervous, but about my bass solo, not my piece on Beefer.  That bass is so tepramental.  I don't really have expectations, which is actually a good thing because then i'm not dissapointed.  I'm as ready as I'm going to be and whatever happens, happens.

Yeah... so nothing else really new going on.  Umm.... hope everyone has a good spring and finishes the year strong!  To all the college kids out there, it'll be nice having you home.  To all my fellow seniors, 33 more school days!  To the underclassmen,.... um, stay in school.  It'll all be over soon.

Ciao!
