Ian Connection
Ian was not only not yet ready to leave for the airport, the meeting that he was attending was just wrapping up as my husband and I got to the hotel. Ian's father came out and escorted us to the meeting room. Clive Cussler had left but his co-author Paul Kemprecos was still there.
Ian was true to his word and I have an inscribed copy of Polar Shift signed by both authors. It was extremely nice for him to have done that for me.
I found out that the meeting was for the Clive Cussler Collectors Society. Once again, it was a pleasure to meet Ian, the trans-continent thing does make it difficult to visit with each other face-to-face. Thank goodness for the internet.
