Next week will begin 40 weeks of exercise at least 3 times a week. That's as long as the average pregnancy!
Since Valentine's Day, I have been keeping a food journal. I have lost about 13-15 lbs depending on what I acknowledge as a start weight.
I clicked on the tag "diet" on my livejournal entries for the past 7 years and it brings home that this struggle is not won. It will never be "over". I need not get too overconfident as I have walked this way before - multiple times; sometimes with success, sometimes failing rather quickly.
Any victories need to be attained with humility. There is an awareness that the slippery slope to an undisciplined fitness life is ever lurking.
I can do hard things.
