Well, Mauvin survives the church. And Alric needs all the ego puncturing he can get. In the last book he's almost unbearable even with Mauvin and Arista to keep the pressure on ....

I know, it's terrible when there's too much going on at once! Where all going to explode!

That's what so great about fantasy, even the "undesirables" have redeemable characteristics! And Hadrian and Royce really start to see the big picture as the series goes on - as well as getting dragged in even when they don't want to be involved - but it's a lot more political than say, Eli Monpress...

Well, don't worry, when I was reading the series, I had the same wild swings for Arista and her ships, and well, you're going somewhere with Hilfred..... (And don't worry, Arista goes crazy with her own ships, too) You'll understand why your statement on "dying men" and Arista's ships is so ironic later in the series *plays at being mysterious*

Thrace finally comes out as well as could be expected by the end of the series, but it's a long journey....

Well, you have met the heir, but don't worry, you won't find out the true answer to all those questions till the very *very* end of the series!

Do you know when you will get the next book?

What? And here I thought Alric would just keep on improving all the way to angel-ship. XD

Actually I'm really grateful that I've got a long list lined up; my TBR list is always high, but unless I'm really looking forward to reading something, I'd usually ignore what's on my TBR list. So yeah, and since it's summer, I can take full advantage of being able to take out books whenever I want and read them on the way to and from work. ^^

Oh, lol, so Arista herself jumps from ship to ship, eh? That's interesting. So far in the first two books she doesn't look like she's looking for romance, so it'll be interesting to see who she likes. Oh no!! My dying man comment is ironic? Last time I said something ironic, it was about not wanting Fasal to be Sohrab, and look what happened there!

I have? OMG, it's Myron? Lol. Just a guess. Imagine if the heir is actually a girl! Though I doubt it; there aren't even enough girls to go about.

Erm, I'm not sure when I'll get the next book. After WoA I'll definitely be jumping back to the Cold Magic trilogy, because I really was supposed to read the second book before starting on WoA. So there's that, and we'll see how well I can patiently wait for what happens in Mistborn 3. Sometimes the further you get into a series, the harder it is to prolong the wait. Most likely though, since I'm not exactly looking forward to reading the end of Mistborn, I'll read the 2nd Riyria omnibus after Cold Fire. In 2 weeks, I'm guessing?

Alric? an Angel???? Not in this lifetime! He's got a good heart though, so I guess he's not too bad.

I know, sometimes there are lots of books that you think you should read, but you can't get yourself into them. I have to admit that I could not get really into Mistborn until after I finished Arrow. I was just not getting into it, and as Books pointed out, it was all in my head!

Arista doesn't go out of her way for romance, but, well it does happen. And she kinda makes it hard on herself ....

I can't tell you who the heir is :( It would completely ruin the entire rest of the series, but just keep keeping your eyes open!

I know! That happens to me usually when I'm hung up on a book / series, that anything else I read doesn't quite hook me in. It happened with Mistborn, and it took me a while to get into Riyria, but then when I finished Riyria, I was really excited so I didn't really feel like starting Mistborn 2. And now I'm back into the thick of things in Mistborn again. I don't think my series rotation will work as planned this summer. ^^

Okay then, lol, as long as Hilfred is a living, breathing being, I'm shipping him with Arista. XD

Oh no, don't! I think it would be a great thrill to find out for myself!
