Philadelphia peeps: would anyone be interested in out-hanging on this most anti-colonial of weekends, or in suggesting some spaces or curios of your fair city one ought to see?
Ooo I'm a Philadelphia peep! One of my favorite things is goingn to the pretzel factory late at night. I'm not sure what their holiday hours are though
I'll be doing some club riding from morning until mid-afternoonish today, but after that I'd be down for hanging out if you're still going to be around.
Around town, you might be interested in Wooden Shoe Books down at 508 S 5th St (just north of South St on 5th). There's also a veritable bevy of delightful veggie places to eat, as well as places to get killer beers. In fact, there are places that are both. South Philly Tap Room, Local 44 and Nodding Head all come to mind.
Arg. That was pretty frustrating. My apologies for the extreme latency--I left on Friday during the day, ended up out in Bryn Mawr without real telecommunicative capabilities, and had to leave early on Sunday. Thanks for the recommendations, and especially for reminding about Wooden Shoe Books. I had been meaning to check it out for sometime.
I anticipate going back later in the summer. Care for a ride then, perhaps with better notice on my part next time?
Hey! Are you going to be here until Thursday? If so, there's an outdoor film series basically projected against a wall of the American Visionary Art Museum. The film starts at 9, but the museum is free from 5-9 beforehand.
