You're from way into our future? You must know Arche, then!

I'm Genis Sage, by the way. Raine's my older sister.

Yes, that's correct. Arche is one of my companions. A loud, disrespectful one, but a companion nonetheless.

I see, I see. It's good to meet you, then, Genis. Would you answer a few questions for me?

Hey, Arche isn't that bad! She's loud and sometimes a little disrespectful, but she's fun.

It's nice to meet you too, Klarth. And I'll answer them to the best of my ability, sure.

Alright, then let's get started. Suzu claimed most, if not all of you, were involved with the reunification of the worlds and the planting of the Yggdrasill tree. Is this true?

Yeah. There were nine of us: Lloyd Irving, Colette Brunel, my sister - Raine Sage, Kratos Aurion, Sheena Fujibayashi, Zelos Wilder, Presea Combatir, Regal Bryant and myself. The new tree sprouted two years ago, and reunited Sylvarant and Tethe'alla -- Aselia.

Two years ago, I see... Was it after this time that the two moons adopted the names of Sylvarant and Tethe'alla? To honor the two differing worlds, perhaps?

Something like that, yeah. Both worlds had their own moons when they were still separated. We called Sylvarant's moon Tethe'alla, and vice versa. So when the two worlds were reunited, it was only logical that we'd keep the moons' names.

Oh, I see! It may have caused initial confusion, yet going through the trouble of changing the moons' names after the world reunification may have been even more troublesome.

You claimed that the Yggdrasill tree is a "new tree". Does that mean there was another one before it?

Well, there used to be one - it's pretty complicated. Do you know of the Kharlan War?

Basically, at the end of that war, the original tree was reduced to the Great Seed. It's what kept the two worlds apart for so long, and maintained the balance between them. It later sprouts the new one.

[Let's see how much of that is right D: /mun-fail]

A seed that sprouted into a new tree... I see.

How long had the worlds been apart?

[It was correct, actually. But Klarth will believe anything you throw at him. XD]

About four thousand years, I believe.

[Awesome! And pfff he deserves better than that :|b Do forgive any inaccuracies on the mun's part D:]

The seed managed to exist by itself for such a long time? That's remarkable! What eventually prompted it to sprout into a tree that produces mana?

[He'll be running the information by several others anyway, depending on who else responds.]

[Genis taps his pen on the journal a little before writing out his answer.]

I think it had something to do with Ratatosk, the spirit of the first Tree. And, Lloyd and Colette used the Eternal Sword for that, yes.

[There's a thick, deep line running across the paper, here. Klarth's pen slipped.]

The Eternal Sword?!

Yeah. Lloyd's dad - well, his other dad: Dirk - he forged it. Does it still exist in your time?

I can say with complete certainty that it does. I've witnessed its power with my own eyes.
