new years in completed, and I forgot to take any pictures... oh well.
I've been in Windsor for a couple days now with vanessa, and will be back on the 4th. New years was spent at this indie rock bar called the loop where people get down to Stars and Broken Social Scene while puppies get their heads smashed with bats on the screens behind everyone (but its ok...cause its anime! or something). Anyway, I dont like any bar scene (no matter how indie), so we went downstairs to the coach and horse for the midnight hardcore show. I was lucky enough to catch windsor’s own shot down stars. www.myspace.com/shotdownstars.
I’ll be playing their latest cd this wednesday for the radio show, along with the rural blue I promised for last time but failed to deliver.
apparently people can still smoke in bars in windsor, which would explain why all my clothes smell like seperatists.
anyway, that’s all for now. I got to go take a piss on a detroit building, for I may never get the chance again.
