YES IRON MAN. I'VE WATCHED IT TWICE. Next week I'm dragging my best friend and another really good friend to watch it because it's awesome. HOW DID I NOT KNOW HOW AWESOME ROBERT DOWNEY JR IS? JUST. alskfdj;lasfkds I really love how they handled things with Pepper Pott and the end where she was all "and then you went to get me a drink . . . and left me there alone. Is that what you're talking about?" and there's an awkward silence. AND HIS LAST WORDS BEFORE THE CREDIT. Ahahaha.

This is my favorite kind of superhero, with lots of flaws (that he admits to on LIVE TV aslf;asldf) and geeking out and trying to look really cool, but ultimately being the biggest dork ever. Do you know if there's Stark/Rhodes fic? I'm curious, but it's been so long since I read the comic (read: middle school, and thus mostly forgotten) that I'm afraid to wade my way into fandom.

THE ROBOTS. THE SUIT. FLYING INTO THE CEILING AND LATER CRUSHING HIS CAR. RAMPANT ALCOHOLISM. I could go on and on about the things I love about htis movie.

And yes, absolutely! I'm bringing my books like the geeky person I am. I'm so excited to finally get to talk about it with other fannish people. My best friend still hasn't made it past something like book three, because I went to Japan and hadn't realized she hadn't borrowed everything I had of it yet, and then she got busy with school when I got back. Now that she's going off to work at a summer camp, however, I'm sure I can pin her down and give her more. I'm sending out two boxes with the first few books to lure other friends in.

just. what an amazing character. And Rhodes is awesome, i can't possibly see how there is not a slash fandom exploding with glee over those two.

You stayed after the credits, right? RIGHT? If not, it's a good excuse to see it again. I mean, I did even without the excuse. And yes, despite the jet scene and such is him being THE BIGGEST GEEK EVER. Not only does he talk to them, he is HASSLED by them. Ahahaha.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time I've commented with my fic journal, sorry. I keep forgetting when I sign in because I'm usually not signed in unless looking at privated or filtered entries, but I'm working on the last touches to a fic I'm hoping to post next week. I have at least five things I'm working on seriously and several others I'm poking at, and my being torn between so many things of interest shows. *facepalm*
