I don't think it's Tezuka being tall (though he is pretty tall, there are others taller than he is) so much as Ryouma being incredibly fucking short. Or maybe it's just that Konomi seems to think everyone grows about eight or nine inches between the end of their first year and the beginning of their second.
But yeah. I mean, Ryouma doesn't even come up to Tezuka's shoulder--when they're actually standing close enough together to make that observation, that is. And when he plays his first match with Inui, who's even taller than Tezuka, the comment is made that they look like a man playing a child. And when he goes to the street courts for the first time with Momo, they actually think he's an elementary school student. No wonder Eiji calls him ochibi; he really is that fucking short.
And, not that my opinion counts, but I think "height difference" would make an excellent prompt. :D
Echizen has grown again. Not much; it has only been three weeks, after all, but enough that his Seigaku jacket is tight across broader shoulders. It is slow, but he is gaining on Tezuka

Ryoma has a dislocated moment of wondering when Tezuka-buchou had got shorter before he belatedly realises that of course he has grown over the past two years. It just doesn't always seem like it, now that even Horio has inches on him
