I'm watching eps 174-176 right now. The Tezu-Fuji match, right. And I'm supposed to be analysing it from the perspective of slashiness, because a couple of people have asked me to talk about how I read those eps as a Tezuka/Ryoma shipper.

safj;slakjsdksl so wanting fic where Ryoma has to consciously avoid looking at Tezuka in the locker room at any time before he *DOES SPOILERY THING AT END OF SERIES* because if he even once saw Tezuka looking the way he does in that last panel, it would be game over, so long *SPOILERY PLACE*, massive chanfic occurring in the showers.

Seriously. I think it's one of those things where we need to do a Trading Spaces: Fandom Edition for a day, so we get HP fen producing all the 12-year-old/14-year-old smut and Echizencest/Fujicest orgies our hearts could desire, and HP winds up with, like, masses of Ravenclaw Genfic. *_*

HP crossovers would work so well for PoT. Seigaku is 100% Gryffindor. Hyotei is 100% Slytherin without the Misunderstood part. Rikkai is SO RAVENCLAW. SO RAVENCLAW IT HURTS.

And I think that would make St. Rudolph our Hufflepuffs. Oh, Mizuki, my little Zach Smith.

There really isn't much smut in PoT fandom at all. I can't think of more than 3 or 4 fics I know of off the top of my head. And most of those 3 or 4 are all Tuti/Nagayan RPS. :))

I surprisingly don't mind the lack of smut. I am just enjoying the subtext and innuendo and revelations and declarations and <333333.

That is...incredibly accurate. Even down to the house members who display traits of other houses.

And the only reason you don't think there's PoT smut is because you don't read SP fic. Believe me, there's plenty of smut between my Ryou and Choutarou. :D

FUJI IS ALWAYS EVIL IN THESE. ALWAYS. SO IS INUI. Neither of them are happy unless they're molesting someone. Why can't the PoT fandom be nice, like DeathNote? All L and Raito ever do is like.. make tea, and feed each other cake.

Except, see, whenever I try to conceptualize of Fuji and Inui together, Fuji morphs into Renji, which is fine, because when Fuji is Fuji Inui gets very frustrated because he has no fucking clue what Fuji wants from him (and, frankly, neither do Fuji or I). I think I need help understanding this Serial Killer!Fuji fellow. Tezuka really strikes me as more likely (than Fuji, less likely than Inui) to imprison people in a hole in his basement and feed them only poisoned rice until they die and then methodically bury them in the back yard. And also Serial Killer!Tezuka will demand that prisoners show him their tennis, and he goes on at length about adversity being the forge in which character is forged, in this life and the next. And then, when the prisoner tries to escape but is tragically stopped by the barbed wire and fall to their death, he does that thing with the camera angle making it look like possibly he has smiled. And he does this all while being in lavender shirts and reading manga in a chair he has in the basement.

Of course, Inui would be a caring seme who drugs little ukes and lures them into the locker rooms.

... And Tezuka!! Doujinshi!Tezukas... When he bottoms, he's a pansy. LIKE... A PANSY, REALLY.

Although... Some of them are really not that bad because to art totally makes me sniffle and wibble.

^_______^; I'm sure I've seen a ton of Ryoma/Tezuka in which Tezuka is a blushy pansy.
