You are quite welcome on the anime front, of course. ^_^ I will be sending you the rest of Hikaru no Go as soon as I can get the last 10 or so eps back from a friend. Because, really, it doesn't start getting really slashy until season 2. And then your eyes sort of bug out of your head watching because, "Wow. This is obsession. Total obsession. And, yeah, I'm loving it."

As far as fic recs, I recommend going to shinra_lackey's journal, going to her memories and combing through her recs. She has a lot of good stuff on there. rageprufrock has some good stuff. Her 19x19 fic thing (a collection of one-shot Hikago AUs) is good, but Inertia (wherein Akira gets married and things just aren't quite working) is better. Make sure to hit Go-Luv. I have, of course, written a bit of Hikago stuff (and a lot of drabbles which can be found in a single post in my memories). quillofferings's Aishuu has a bunch of great ones. "Brightly Burning" is the one that I keep coming back to reread, though. However, I would wait a while to read it because it has a lot of spoilery stuff. "Lessons in How to Make a Bishounen Snap" is a good one, too. On ff.n, look for dracostella's "Jigo" and Shikami Yamino's "Blind Descent".

For all of those but a few, there is a chance of spoilers. Hikago is a series with a big secret. So just... be careful? Most authors are careful to give their own spoiler warnings, but... yeah.
