It's jolly good that you posted this because

A: it gave me some thing to do this evening rather than stress over work (reread all the things!)

B: It made me realise that there are loads of typos and stuff in Renovations which I then fixed

C: It made me realise there was a whole renovations fic that I never put on AO3, so that's now up there!

is this a sticky post or did you really come back to LJ to say hi?! i was randomly craving arthur/eames and i was reading fic and saw one of your comments and clicked on it and huzzah! you (maybe) have posted. wonderful because i have a question.

where is fandom these days? you've probably discussed this elsewhere but i haven't seen it. i was late to the fandom party and came on board in 2008/9 and now it has dispersed from LJ and I hear it is on tumblr but is there meta on tumblr? is that where bina and anythingbutgrey and bookish are? is there fandom/trope discussion on tumblr? where it at? where it at? where it at? now there it go. there it go. there it go.

follow up question, can i talk about your list over on the eames_arthur community at LJ (or did you want to do it)? I'm making my way through your absolute-best list and there are things I didn't know about and should be shared. The vampire (monster in the basement) fic for one, i'm reading the merely players one right now and i guess i must have not been around or missed these but the world should know. but, it's totally up to you.

Oh god, I can't find the link but, if you've never read "What Lovely Way To Burn" you have to. It's not /e, in fact, the pairings were surprising to me, but it is one of the most TERRIFYING good horro stories.

Someone managed to fuse Inception and the Silent Hill video game franchise. The art is breathtaking, the story is breathtaking, and the use of dream theory is staggering.

If you love the dream capabilities of Inception, or the character, or adventure, or horror, or Silent Hill- You HAVE to read that story.
