okay, so, I wasn't looking forward to Infinitus cause I didn't think I'd know anybody, I didn't really have time to take out of my life to go, I thought all I'd do was wander around hiding out in the canon-based panels geeking out over HP ( Read more... )

Sounds like you had a fantastic time! I think I'm almost as jealous of this: At one point Clio and I did some kind of overarching analysis of all Broadway from the 1920's through to Rent in the context of pop music and the demise of theatre as we know it, and it was AMAZING :D - as I am of the HP stuff.

So Thursday night we're all sitting around the bar and Amy and Stina come up and they're like, so we just went to the airport and got Chris and Meg!

And I'm like OMG SERIOUSLY CHRIS AND MEG ARE HERE?!?!?!?! at them

and they're like, yeah, they just got in from England!

There followed this TEN MINUTE conversation, in which i was VERY EXCITED, but SLIGHTLY CONFUSED, because they were talking about how they might need to protect you from hordes of fangirls--at which point I was like, "wait hey what need a little help here" and Cat was like, OH NO, NOT OUR CHRIS AND MEG, chris rankin and his girlfriend!

which was HILARIOUS. but sad, because I was so excited about seeing you both again!

Wow, sounds like a great time! I'm so out of the loop I didn't even know Infinitus existed. I should really go next time, so we can, as patchfire says, "party like it's 2003". :D
