i just rewatched S3 and am in the middle of rewatching S4 and I am so so so conflicted about this ship because a) it is everywhere, and b) it is angsty and issue-laden and minefieldy and it makes me D: even though it is omfg hot. like. i think i would need to read amazing AMAZING fanfic for this pairing before i could see how it could ever work.
(also, since i rewatched that awful pony-play ep, this particular rewatch I saw the whole thing as being indicative of all Booth's control issues and all the panic that even the MENTION of sexual exploration brings out in him, and now i cannot - CANNOT - get the idea of Sweets initiating rites of BDSM and tying Booth up, as a form of sexual therapy, out of my head. GOD.)
I know exactly what you mean - I'm so much in love with this pairing (or rather, with the idea of this pairing) but I can't honestly see a way how to make them work because even if Sweets ever made a move, Booth would promptly have a heterosexual freak-out.
