Has anybody just lost it with a customer? Potentially leading to bad things?
About two months after I first started, this woman came in and said she was looking to something similar to "Ypres love".
Me: Sorry, ma'am, could you repeat that title?
Her: Ypres Love.
Me: I'm sorry, but I don't recognize that title.
Her: Well, could you get someone who actually knows books to come down here?
Me: What?! I- [pause, breath] [General Manager], could you help this customer?
She was looking for Eat, Pray, Love but couldn't take the time to enunciate her words.
