The Customer Service Game

I generally work at the customer service desk in a large chain bookstore. Mostly, it's only me, but this time of year, there are often several of us there, waiting and helping customers. One of my co workers came up with this game.

If you can find the right title listing in the system for the customer, you get 1 point.

If you can find the right listing, we have the title in stock, and you can actually hand it to the customer, 2 points.

If you don't even need to consult the computer, but can go directly to the book in question, five points.

If you have to play the twenty questions game with them (Do you know who wrote it? Do you know about when it was published? Do you know what it's about? etc), and you can figure out what it is - even if we don't have it in, five points.

This helped enliven several otherwise insane days.
