I threw a bit of a fit the other day at our annual holiday meeting. Many of you have non-profit fundraisers wrapping books for you for donations. We've had this for the past two years. The year before that, however, the booksellers themselves wrapped books and I got a couple hundred dollars in tips over the entire holiday. It's bad enough that the cafe gets tips year-round for doing the same work as us for the same wages, but now they've gone and taken away the biggest opportunity for tips that booksellers have. Yet the cafe continues to receive generous holiday tips. And to top it all off, I am adamantly against the charity we're supporting! Thanks a lot for taking my tips, assholes. Does this piss off anyone else, or is it just me?
