Goodbye... my Sarah Jane
Just a relatively quick sketch I did of an image that caught in my mind after I heard about Elisabeth Sladen's death. Of all the images that brought me to tears, it was of the faithful "tin dog" waiting for his mistress. Maybe for walkies...
Sometimes, you just need a good cry.
Goodbye Elisabeth. You were my favorite companion and I loved Sarah Jane enough to wear the Andy Pandy costume. ;) Someone at Chicago TARDIS asked me if you'd see it and said that you would have loved it and that means so much to me right now. I know to some, it's silly to be so sad about someone you've never met, but Lis was only 63. I lost my mom almost 2 years ago at 60. I just can't help but be moved by women I admire who are taken from us too soon.
