"Hmmm," Fred hummed as Rupert kissed and nipped at her neck after moving her back on the bed, "maybe next time I should go to Romania with you."
She groaned when he bit her shoulder then moved down to her breasts. When he rubbed against her, she could feel herself pulsing with need and want, the way she always seemed to when he was with her. He knew just how to touch her, always seemed to have known. She was about to tell him that she needed him inside her when he pushed into her, causing her to shudder.
"Oh, God." She brought her legs up when he encouraged her and warapped them around his waist, holding him tightly as he thrusted into her. He felt so good.
The last two days had been their first real separation since they had become engaged and gotten married. Before that it had been the week after they had first met. That week had been bad enough, but the last two days had been even worse since they had been together for so much longer now.
Raising her hips up, she met each of his thrusts as her head pressed back against the mattress. She gasped when he started moving faster, pushing into her harder. Her entire body felt like it was being overwhelmed.
"Oh, God, don't stop, please," she pleaded. "Don't ever stop."
As Giles pushed into his wife, he groaned. They seemed to fit perfectly together, as if they were made to do this. He adjusted himself when Fred wrapped her legs around him and slipped his arms under her to bring her closer. Their bodies seemed to melt together causing him to want more.
When Fred started to beg him not to stop, Giles slowed his thrusts in order to last longer. He dipped his head down and softly kissed her neck. "I love you," he whispered in her ear, trying hard to keep his slow thrusts but he couldn't. He needed her and needed to go faster.
Giles sped his thrusts up again, feeling his balls tightened. "God, Fred," he choked out as he felt himself falling over the edge. He thrust deeper into her once last time before letting out a strangled cry and spilling himself into her.
Fred whimpered softly as she held Rupert tightly, her arms and legs wrapped around him. She buried her face against his neck, shuddering when she felt his breath in her ear and his words penetrated the haze of sensations fogging up her mind.
"Love..." she choked out when he sped up again. She then lost her voice as her body started to tremble, teetering on the cusp as her muscles tensed almost painfully. When she felt him explode deep inside her, she came with a muffled scream of his name, clamping down on him hard and quaking.
After several moments, her body began to settle down though she could feel herself pulsing every so often around him. Bringing her head up, a damn curl of hair sticking to her forehead, she locked eyes with him. The only sound in the room was their harsh breathing until she finally managed to make her voice work.
Giles felt as if he was going to pass out. He was exhausted from the trip but he wanted this more than he could ever voice. With a small smile, he reached up and pushed the piece of hair off her forehead. "Thank you, love," he whispered before softly kissing her. He carefully removed himself from her embrace and plopped down on the bed.
"Sorry, love," Giles murmured before pulling her closer. "I'm a bit knackered and I didn't want to fall on you and hurt you." He ran his fingers through her hair and sighed. "I think from now on I'm going to send someone else on business trips. Travers never had to travel to Romania when he was head of the Council. Bloody board."
Giles took a deep breath before glancing at his wife. "I'm sorry. I'm quite sure you don't want to listen to me carry on about my trip," he said before softly kissing her. "Anything exciting happen while I was gone?" What he really wanted to ask was if she was pregnant yet since they'd been trying for several weeks already but decided not to ask.
Fred smiled as Rupert pulled her to him, resting her head in the crook of his shoulder. "It's all right," she assured when he apologized, glad that he hadn't fallen on her. Her smile turned into a head shake when he talked about sending someone else on the business trips. "Didn't find anything this time either?"
She was really starting to wonder about some of these trips Rupert said the Board had been sending him on. It seemed that none of the leads ever panned out, based on what he told her, and she knew very well that it wasn't because of Rupert. She had seen him work, and she knew he was good at what he did. And the fact that these leads came up empty made her wonder.
"I really do wonder about where the Board is getting their information," she told him. "It doesn't seem right."
She pushed the thoughts aside for a moment though when Rupert kissed her and asked her if anything had happened while he was gone. "Well, we found out a new strain of Mentac demon flu has mutated. Martin's working up the pathology on that, and I should have a report at the end of the week. Willow and Charlotte have decided to move in together. They're still trying to decide whether they want to move into Charlotte's place or buy a new home, so they may not actually move until 2007." She thought for a moment if there was anything else from work to tell him, then remembered their visitor earlier that day. "Oh, and an old friend of yours visited today. Henry Delacour? Said he had just gotten back from the States and heard we had married. He brought us a beautiful plant as a wedding present, so I planted it in the flower bed in front of the house today."
"I didn't find a thing," Giles said as he ran his fingers over Fred's back. "That's why I came home a day early. No sense in me staying there, following empty leads." He pondered what Fred was saying for a moment before shrugging his shoulders. "The contacts are either mucking things up or the board is truly stupid. On Monday I'm going to have a chat with them about sending me after these leads. I don't like being out of contact with you, and once you get pregnant, I want to be in reach at all times."
He shuddered when she mentioned Mentac demon flu. "Good thing Martin is on it then," Giles said as he snuggled closer to her. When she mentioned Henry's name, he raised his eyebrows. "Henry? I haven't seen him in years. We were quite close years ago but we both went our separate ways. He retired after he was poisoned by a demon." Giles shook his head, not believing Henry even remembered him. "I have his number at my office. I'll have to call him on Monday, and perhaps invite him over for dinner some evening."
Giles yawned and stretched out a bit. "I do suppose I should shower and shave," he said before he rubbed his stubbles against Fred's cheek. "Unless you like the scruffy look on me."
"Well, I can't complain about you coming home early," Fred said with a sigh, "but I hate to think that you're being jerked around, especially by the board. I don't like that you might be getting sent on these trips for nothing."
And she didn't like the fact that Rupert might be once she got pregnant either, especially when he couldn't contact her because of going to out of the way places, like in Romania. She was glad that he was going to talk to the Board about what was going on. He was in charge of running the day-to-day operations of the Council, not running ridiculous go-nowhere errands.
She was a bit glad to have the conversation turn to other things, though, and smiled when he started talking about Henry. "I mentioned maybe getting together, so inviting him to dinner sounds great. He was really quite nice. Said that he was surprised you finally actually got married."
Fred laughed and cringed back a bit when Rupert tickled her with his beard stubble. "Hey!" Reaching up, she rubbed her hand across his cheek, studying him for a moment. "I kinda like the scruffy, but I'm not so sure the Council will. In any event, we should probably shower."
Taking his hands, she stood up from the bed and drew him up with her to pull him into the bathroom.
Giles rolled his eyes when Fred told him how surprised Henry was that he had gotten married. Just because he had decided to wait didn't make him that awful. He was just waiting for the right woman to come along, something he knew he'd found with Fred. "I suppose the Council won't like it too much. Perhaps I'll wait until Monday to shave it though," he said as Fred pulled him off the bed.
He allowed himself to be led to the bathroom and once there, he leaned against the counter and looked at his wife. "I'm not sure if this is a good idea, love. We've been apart of much too long and I do believe we have lots of catching up to do." Giles stepped in front of Fred and picked her up before placing her on the edge of the counter. "Lots of catching up to do."
He ran his hands up her stomach and to her breasts as he deeply kissed her. His hands then moved back down, where they nudged her legs apart and stroked her inner thighs. "See? I can't be trusted around you. Perhaps I should shower downstairs," Giles murmured against her lips.
Fred was about to turn on the shower when Rupert grabbed her and set her on the counter. She smiled up at him - two days to most people would be nothing, but to people like her and Rupert, people who lived the kind of lives they did, two days could be lifetimes.
Closing her eyes, she let out a shuddering breath as he ran his hands over her, her skin still sensitive from before. She wrapped her arms around him as he kissed her, moaning when she felt his finger caressing the inside of her thighs.
"Don't want you to go downstairs," she murmured in response as she hooked her legs around him to bring him closer. She ran her hand down from around his neck to wrap around his back, his fingers trailing down to cup his bottom. "You were gone too long, so want you to stay right here."
Giles moaned as his wife ran her hands over his back and eventually to his bottom. Being with Fred made him feel happy, and young, especially when they were making love. "I don't believe we've done it on the bathroom counter yet," he murmured against her neck. It was then that the phone rang and he sighed. "I should really get that in case it's someone from the Council. My mobile is dead at the moment."
He removed himself from her embrace and reached around the doorframe to pick up the cordless phone. "Hello?"
"Giles? I thought you weren't coming home until tomorrow." It was Willow and Giles smiled before reaching over to run his fingers through Fred's hair. He opened his mouth to respond but Willow continued to talk. "I'm calling because since this is our first Thanksgiving in London, I thought we could all have dinner next weekend. Charlotte and I are going to cook. Would Fred and you like to come?"
Giles looked over at Fred and gave her a small smile. "Sounds wonderful but perhaps you should speak to Fred about it too. She might have something else planned. Oh, and could you keep it short? I'm about ready to tie Fred down to the bed and shag her senseless," he said before pulling the phone away from his ear and holding it out to Fred. "It's your mum."
Fred sighed when the phone rang and sat back propped against the counter, running her foot up and down his leg while he answered. Rupert didn't speak for a few moments, instead listening to whoever was on the other line. They must have asked him something because he mentioned something about speaking to her.
Before telling whoever it was what he was planning on doing to her, which caused her to blush. "Rupert!" she chastised him.
And then he said it was her mother.
Her eyes widened, her mouth dropped open, and her face suddenly became so red that she felt she had to be radiated heat to warm the entire house. He had...! Her mother...! Oh God, what was it with them and bathrooms and her mother?!
"M--mom?" she managed to stutter into the receiver, just as she heard laughter in her ear that was most certainly not her mother.
"It's not your mom, Fred. It's Willow! I was calling to ask if you and Giles wanted to come over for Thanksgiving, but if you're busy..."
Fred stared at her husband for a moment, seeing the smug grin on his face. "Willow, can I call you back tomorrow about it? I have a husband to kill."
"Okay, but don't kill him completely dead. We'd kind of miss him."
"Can't promise anything, but I'll try." She grabbed the phone and ended the call, then wrapped her legs tightly around him, so he couldn't escape and grabbed hold of his arms. "You, my love, are an evil, evil man!"
Giles had to look away when Fred’s mouth dropped open and she started to furiously blush. He was afraid he was going to start to laugh, and a giggle escaped when she called Willow mom. When Fred said she was going to kill him, Giles tried to take a step back but realized he was tangled in her legs. And when she rang off and tightened her legs around him, Giles started to laugh.
"I'm not evil! I just thought it'd be funny and you have to admit it was quite brilliant," Giles said with a grin. He felt Fred's legs tighten around him and he gave her a charming smile. "You're quite adorable when you turn five shades of red, love." He leaned forward and softly kissed her neck.
"You aren't upset with me, are you?" He asked as his mouth moved to her ear. "I'll make it up to you, I promise. Whatever you would like me to do, I'll do it, no questions asked." He softly kissed her jawline before pressing his forehead to hers. "I love you, very, very much."
She groaned when he bit her shoulder then moved down to her breasts. When he rubbed against her, she could feel herself pulsing with need and want, the way she always seemed to when he was with her.
