here “I love you too,” Giles said before kissing her. Their snogging session was interrupted by the timer on the oven. After they were finished with supper, Giles took Fred to the flat’s small library and showed her his small weapon chest. He let her picked her own weapons out, knowing she had knowledge about weapons and demon hunting.
He then handed her a small pouch powder, explaining it was sleeping draught. They didn’t want to kill the demon since it was human, and Giles told her if the demon cornered her to try the draught first before using a weapon to kill it. Giles then pulled out a map and figured out the best route to take to the small village. It was about thirty minutes outside of the city limits.
There was a knock on the door and Giles answered it, rolling his eyes when he saw Xander and Andrew was bickering about something. “You lot ready to leave?” he asked as all of them filed into his foyer.
“My spell is ready,” Willow told them.
“I take it we’re going to knock it out before killing?” Buffy asked.
Giles nodded. “If you get the demon down, and Willow isn’t there, call her,” he said before turning toward Fred. “When we say call Willow, we don’t mean out loud. You talk to her in your mind and she’ll be able to hear and answer you. It’s quite useful.”
“And creepy,” Xander said, shuddering a little.
“Lets go,” Giles said before Willow could say anything to Xander. “Buffy, Willow and Xander in one car and Fred and Andrew in mine.”
All of them filed out and went to their respective cars. Buffy drove off first as Giles started his. He glanced over at Fred and smiled. “Why don’t you try speaking with Willow. Just to make sure she’ll be able to hear you,” he said as he pulled his car out onto the road.
