The heat is on in Saigon
This is shaping up to be a pretty exciting week! There's the premiere tomorrow, of course. I think I'll actually bring a notebook with me and use my phone to jot down my immediate responses after the movie.
Yesterday I saw Miss Saigon. This is ironic for several reasons.
1) It was part of my sixteenth birthday present. I went to Harry Potter World for my "Sweet Sixteen".
2) The day before we left for Harry Potter World (and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiere!), I saw the Les Miserables 25th Anniversary movie in theaters. (Both shows have the same producers and lyricist).
3) I think there was a third reason, but I forget.
So...the show. The music was good. Not as catchy as Le Mis, but then again I hadn't been listening to the Broadway Cast album for months before. I had read about the ending, so I was prepared...I still cried though. (And I also was mad when someone's phone went off when Kim was talking to Tam >_>).
I may post again tomorrow before the movie. I can't believe it...
