Absolutely NO reposting of anything in my private journal (this one) or my book review journal coveredinrust to facebook or twitter. This includes comments. I've seen quite a bit of warnings from a lot of you out there so I don't think I have much to worry about but I thought I'd put this out there, just in case.
Also, I'd like to point out that disabling PINGBACKS on your settings won't take away people's ability to post, it will only mean that you won't get notified when they do it. This information is found here: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=293
Just a warning because I saw some comms have people saying that it will keep people from posting things to other websites but it doesn't have anything about that. It does seem to specify that you won't be notified if anyone posts anything in friends only posts... just fantastic, right?
So please, even if you're okay with this little feature, I'm not. I'm not on facebook a lot and I don't have a Twitter. Even though it's hard to control what gets swept around the net, I'd much appreciate if you'd respect my privacy and choices about what information goes where as much as I respect yours.
Now that I'm done being a hard ass for now...
