*Jr. shows up on the PCD with his arms crossed and his longcoat missing and looking like he's just been told a profoundly unoriginal joke. This may have something to do with the red scales dotting his face, the large dragon wings sticking out of his back and his clawed fingertips ( Read more... )

not liking this, secrets secrets and more secrets, never living it down, might hit a little close to home, dredging up more memories, very funny not, of devils and angels, oh the irony, dragons do not make good pets, past won't stay in the past, gee thanks, red dragon cute, this will take some explaining

I dunno, seems pretty realistic to me. Grade-A movie stuff.

Now if only it was something I'd asked for. *The wings fold over his shoulders a bit as he tilts his head back.*

The Animus. You're new here, right? Don't think I've seen you before. *He definitely would have remembered if he had...*

They're spirits that pull all kinds of weird crap on us, usually twice a month.

Ain't anyone tried to exorcise them yet? If they're spirits, they can be handled.

I'm not sure what all everyone's tried, but nothing works. They're probably not like whatever kind of spirits you're used to, different worlds tend to work a bit differently.

Hard to tell. We get people showing up from new worlds all the time.

Sometimes. Nobody's figured out how to leave willingly yet, but sometimes people just vanish. *No, he does not sound a little bitter about that. Really.*

[That's worrying.]

Any way of telling where they end up after they vanish?

People've disappeared and come back later and nobody ever remembers people disappearing back home, so we're pretty sure they go back where they belong.

At least there's that.

People forget everything that happened here when they leave, though. I'm hoping there's some way to stop it, but we'd probably have to stop the Animus first. *There goes that THUNK noise again.*
