My God is an awesome God. He came from heaven to save us. Us, a people who are unworthy. A people who cannot do anything good enough to earn His favor. Yet He, the one, the creator of everything, came from His perfect world to the Earth. Where He was ridiculed, spit on, tempted, and hurt. He lived a blameless life, and then died a horrible death for a crime He did not comitt. All for us. To save us. Because all He wants is for us to be with Him. To draw near to Him. To confide in Him. Do you feel that longing in your heart? The longing to be thought of as important? To longing to be loved? The longing to have a friend? That is the hole that only God can fill. He thinks you are important. He loves you. He wants to be your best friend. He came to Earth so that He could have that relationship with us. So that He could fill our holes. Fufill the longing of your heart. Draw near to God. Talk to Him. Tell Him your fears, your hopes, your thoughts. He will listen, and He cares. About YOU. No matter what you do, what mistakes you make, or what things you say. He still cares about each and every one of us. My God is an awesome God.
