I visited Toccoa Falls College today. :] :] :]
I. Am. In. Love.
Toccoa is amazing. I was praying that God would let me know which college I am supposed to go to. As soon as we got there...I just knew. I loved everything about it. The falls are so beautiful. The staff, professors, and students are incredibly friendly. ((Mike did an awesome job with the tour. Thanks Mike!!)) I got to sit in on "Theology of Missions" with Dr. Smith. The class met at the falls today. It was awesome. And do you know what the professor did before starting class? He prayed. Yes, the professor prayed. That just made my day. The class then broke off into groups of 4 or five (there were about 20 people in the class) and had to make a list of 10 absolutes (things you would die for). I went with a girl named Kristen and the rest of her group (Jim, Joe, and Nate). They were all so nice. The really included me. I didn't feel like an outsider at all. I felt like I belonged. When class was over I talked to Kristen for a few minutes. She graduated from Collins Hill 4 years ago, and is a junior now. I really hope I get to see her again. She was really nice. Then dad and I got lunch, and then met with the admissions counselor. Her name was Jenni (the students there called her that...cool, huh?) and she was also very sweet.
TO BE CONTINUED...I am heading to Danielle's house to talk to her and Lindilicious. Ye-yeah.
CONTINUED: She was very knowledgeable about everything. Helpful=Jenni. Then she took me to see LeTorneau Hall and Fant Hall. I really hope that there are freshman openings in LeTorneau Hall next year. That one was my favorite.
What more can I say? It was amazing, splendific, teriffic, and great. I wish I could enroll right now and stop high school. I can't wait.
Toccoa Falls College, here I come!
Oh, P.S. I am going for the campus visit day on October 8th (homecoming, I know). Would anyone like to come? I am open to having anyone ride with me. And we will be back before homecoming. Enough time to get ready for the dance. :]
