is this really 2NE1? this super sad, melancholic, non-auto-tune song?! really?! who knew they had it in them to sing such a ballad.

and what a ballad it is. a mix of R'n'B with jazz. the music's simple and creates a pensive atmosphere. and their vocals, well they blew it out of the water with them. i didn't doubt their vocals (especially Bom) but with this song, it just perfectly showcases it. I like how their vocals perfectly express the hurt of the lyrics. and their voices go so well together. one down side, Dara, well i still cringe a little when i hear that squeaky voice of hers. but in the bridge where she sings to complement Bom's adlib-ing, well, it actually sounds good together.

this is so my favourite 2NE1, and will probably be my favourite for always unless they decide to stop with the over-synthesized and over auto-tuned songs (which is something i doubt they will do).

i'm possessed by this song right now, and so like a possessed woman, i translated the lyrics. whoever wrote this song was hurting pretty bad. the emotion of betrayal and hurt is captured perfectly in the lyrics, so i hope i translated it as correctly and closely to the meanings as possible (especially for this song, i really didn't want anything to get lost in translation).
